About The Book
Set in 1947 America, the story follows Naomi, a two-year-old girl abandoned at the gates of a mental asylum. Misunderstood by her father, who believes her epileptic seizures are “demonic,” Naomi is left behind with nothing but a teddy bear and a tear-stained letter from her mother.
Rescued by strangers, Naomi’s fragile life becomes a testimony to both suffering and hope. Through the perspectives of caretakers, doctors, and adoptive families, readers see how one child can transform hearts, expose hidden guilt, and reveal God’s redeeming love.
